Landscape Design
Landscape design is the stage where we discuss your needs and vision for your outdoor space. This is typically done face-to-face so we can gain a deeper understanding of your design objectives. We offer recommendations, inspiration, and suitable designs for your budget so by the end of the initial consultation we will have an overall image of the finished landscape project that you can be completely happy with.
This is also a great opportunity to discuss key elements to the design of your space including possible project materials (e.g. pavers) and plant materials. We can also offer material samples to help you visualise the finished garden.
It is important to note that your project design can be easily updated if you decide to make alterations as we realise ideas and functionality needs can change.
An estimated cost to implement the design will also be provided. We price your project as we design it. This ensures your budget is respected throughout the entire process.
COUNCIL APPROVAL
The Design Process
1. Consultation
We can meet you on-site to discuss your goals, requirements, or ideas for your outdoor space. Please note, a drawn-up plan will incur a fee. Following the consultation, we will provide you with a quote to complete the landscape design plan.
2. Concept Plan
Once you are happy to commence your landscape and garden journey with us, we will draw up a concept plan either by hand or with computer software. The plan may include specific plant selections, colour palettes, and material choices. Depending on your needs, the plan can also be drawn to scale which is especially helpful for Development Application purposes.
3. Master Plan
We will then provide you with the concept plan for your review and feedback. Any alterations to the plan can be made at this time to ensure you are completely satisfied. Afterward, a final master plan is created.
